نقل العينات من موقع الجمع إلى المختبر المنفذ ضمن حدود محددة للزمن والحرارة والتغليف. تحتاج عينات العيادات البعيدة إلى تغليف ثلاثي محكم يمنع التسرب، وسجل للحرارة، وسجل للنقل. العينة المتأخرة المتروكة في سيارة حارة قد تعطي غلوكوزاً منخفضاً وبوتاسيوماً مرتفعاً كاذبين.
Definition
Moving specimens from the collection site to the testing laboratory within defined time, temperature and packaging limits. Samples from outlying clinics need leak-proof triple packaging, a temperature record and a transport log. A delayed sample left in a hot car can show falsely low glucose and falsely high potassium.
