رقم فريد يخصصه المختبر للطلب أو العينة عند استلامها، ويُطبع غالباً على شكل رمز شريطي. يربط هذا الرقم العينة وتمريرها على الجهاز ونتيجتها وتقريرها في نظام معلومات المختبر، ويتيح تتبع النتيجة حتى الأنبوب ووقت الجمع بدقة، كما في التحقيق في شكوى.
Definition
A unique number the laboratory assigns to a request or specimen when it is received, usually printed as a barcode. It links the sample, the analyzer run, the result and the report in the laboratory information system, and lets the lab trace a result back to the exact tube and collection time, for example during a complaint investigation.
