الجزء من مسار التحليل الذي يسبق قياس العينة، ويشمل طلب التحليل وتحضير المريض وسحب العينة وتداولها ونقلها وتخزينها. هي المصدر الأكبر لأخطاء المختبر، فعينة البوتاسيوم المنحلة أو العينة الموسومة خطأً تعطي نتيجة خاطئة حتى على جهاز معاير بإتقان.
Definition
The part of the total testing process before the sample is measured, covering the test request, patient preparation, collection, handling, transport and storage. It is the largest single source of laboratory errors. A hemolyzed potassium sample or a mislabeled tube gives a wrong result even on a perfectly calibrated analyzer.
