عدم المطابقة هو عدم استيفاء متطلب محدد، سواء كان متطلباً في المواصفة أو في إجراء المختبر أو في اتفاق مع الطبيب. من أمثلته تمرير عينات المرضى رغم فشل الكونترول أو غياب سجل تدريب لموظف، ويُسجَّل كل حالة ويُحلَّل سببها ويُتخذ الإجراء المناسب.
Definition
A nonconformity is the non-fulfilment of a requirement, whether it comes from the standard, a laboratory procedure or an agreement with the requesting clinician. Examples include reporting patient results after a failed QC run or having no training record for a staff member, and each case is logged, its cause analysed and action taken.
