الحوكمة السريرية هي الإطار الذي تكون فيه المنشأة الصحية مسؤولة عن تحسين جودة خدماتها وحماية معايير الرعاية، عبر خطوط مسؤولية واضحة وإدارة المخاطر والتدقيق السريري. في المختبر تعني أن يُعرف بالاسم من يقرر المجالات المرجعية وقوائم القيم الحرجة، وأن تُراجع الحوادث وتُتخذ فيها قرارات موثقة.
Definition
Clinical governance is the framework through which a healthcare organisation is accountable for improving the quality of its services and safeguarding standards of care, through clear lines of responsibility, risk management and clinical audit. In a laboratory it means a named person decides reference intervals and critical value lists, and incidents are reviewed with documented decisions.
