ثقب الوريد بإبرة لجمع الدم، وغالباً ما يكون الوريد المرفقي المتوسط في ثنية المرفق. هو الخطوة العملية ضمن سحب الدم الوريدي. تدخل الإبرة بزاوية منخفضة تتراوح بين 15 و30 درجة تقريباً، ويُفك الرباط عند بدء تدفق الدم.
Definition
Puncture of a vein with a needle to collect blood, most often the median cubital vein at the elbow. It is the physical step within phlebotomy. The needle enters at a shallow angle of about 15 to 30 degrees, and the tourniquet is released as blood starts to flow.
