خطأ يحدث عند نقل النتيجة يدوياً، كنقلها من ورقة الجهاز المطبوعة إلى التقرير أو قراءتها هاتفياً. من أمثلته تبديل الأرقام وخطأ موقع الفاصلة العشرية وإدخال النتيجة لمريض آخر. يقلل ربط الأجهزة بالنظام والتحقق المزدوج من الإدخال اليدوي هذه الأخطاء.
Definition
An error introduced when a result is copied by hand, for example from an analyzer printout into the report or when read over the phone. Typical mistakes are swapped digits, misplaced decimal points and results entered against the wrong patient. Instrument interfacing and double checking of manual entries reduce them.
