خطوة سلامة يكرر فيها مستلم النتيجة هاتفياً النتيجة مع معرّفات المريض أمام المتصل، ثم يؤكد المتصل صحتها. تكشف هذه الخطوة أخطاء السمع، مثل الخلط بين 15 و50 أو خطأ الفاصلة العشرية. تُسجل إعادة القراءة مع تبليغ النتيجة الحرجة.
Definition
A safety step in which the person receiving a result by phone repeats it, with the patient identifiers, back to the caller, who then confirms it is correct. It catches mishearing, such as 15 and 50 or a wrong decimal point. The read-back is recorded with the critical result notification.
