المدة التي يبقى خلالها المُحلَّل في العينة ضمن حدود التغير المقبولة في ظروف تخزين محددة. تختلف مدة الثبات بحسب التحليل، فيسمح معيار CLSI H21 بحفظ دم السترات غير المطرود حتى 24 ساعة لزمن البروثرومبين، و4 ساعات فقط لتحليل APTT. ينشر المختبر حدود الثبات لرفض العينات المتأخرة أو تعليمها.
Definition
The length of time, under stated storage conditions, that an analyte in a specimen stays within acceptable change. Stability differs by test: CLSI H21 allows uncentrifuged citrate blood up to 24 hours for PT but only 4 hours for APTT. The lab should publish stability limits so late samples are rejected or flagged.
