إدارة الجودة هي الأنشطة المنسّقة لتوجيه المختبر وضبطه في ما يخص الجودة، وتشمل وضع سياسة الجودة وأهدافها والتخطيط وضبط الجودة وضمانها والتحسين المستمر. في المختبر اليومي تعني أن مسؤولاً محدداً يتابع مؤشرات الأداء ويقرر الإجراء عند ظهور مشكلة متكررة.
Definition
Quality management is the coordinated activity to direct and control a laboratory with regard to quality, covering the quality policy and objectives, planning, quality control, quality assurance and continual improvement. In daily work it means a named person follows performance data and decides what to do when a problem keeps returning.
