مسؤول حماية البيانات شخص مكلف بالإشراف على طريقة جمع البيانات الشخصية ومعالجتها وحفظها في المؤسسة. يتطلب القرار التنظيمي لوزارة الصحة السورية رقم 24/ت تسميته في تطبيقات الصحة الإلكترونية، وهو مهم للمخابر لأن نتائج التحاليل بيانات صحية حساسة تحتاج إلى ضوابط وصول وسجل تتبع.
