مادة ضبط الجودة مادة مستقرة تشبه عينات المرضى، تُمرَّر بانتظام لمراقبة أداء نظام القياس ولا تُستعمل للمعايرة. تُمرر عادة بمستويين أو أكثر في كل سلسلة تحليلية، وتُقارن نتائجها بحدود محسوبة من المتوسط والانحراف المعياري للمختبر نفسه.
Definition
A control material is a stable material resembling patient samples, run regularly to monitor the performance of a measuring system and never used for calibration. It is usually run at two or more levels in each analytical run, and its results are compared with limits calculated from the lab's own mean and SD.
