منحنى المعايرة هو العلاقة الرياضية أو البيانية بين إشارة الجهاز وتركيز المعايِرات، ويكون خطياً في كثير من طرق الكيمياء وغير خطي في معظم المقايسات المناعية. تُحسب نتيجة المريض بإسقاط إشارته على المنحنى، ولذلك لا يجوز تقدير نتائج تقع خارج مجال المعايِرات دون تمديد مثبت.
Definition
A calibration curve is the mathematical or graphical relationship between instrument signal and calibrator concentration, linear for many chemistry methods and non-linear for most immunoassays. Patient results are read off the curve, so values outside the calibrator range should not be extrapolated without a verified dilution.
