المادة المرجعية الموثقة مادة مرجعية مرفقة بشهادة من جهة مختصة تذكر قيمة الخاصية وارتيابها وتتبّعها، مثل مواد المعهد الوطني الأمريكي للمعايير والتقانة NIST أو المعايير الدولية لمنظمة الصحة العالمية. تقع في مرتبة عالية من سلسلة التتبّع، ويمكن للمختبر استعمالها لتقييم انحياز طريقته عند الشك في معايِر الشركة.
Definition
A certified reference material comes with a certificate from a competent body stating the property value, its uncertainty and its traceability, such as NIST materials or WHO International Standards. It sits high in the traceability chain, and a lab can use one to assess its method bias when a manufacturer calibrator is in doubt.
