مادة الضبط محددة القيمة كونترول ترفق معه الشركة جدولاً بالقيم المتوقعة والمجالات المقبولة لكل طريقة وجهاز. تفيد هذه القيم عند البدء بدفعة جديدة، لكن المجالات المطبوعة واسعة عادة، ولذلك يحسب المختبر متوسطه وانحرافه المعياري الخاصين من نتائجه.
Definition
An assayed control material comes with a manufacturer's table of expected values and acceptable ranges for each method and analyser. These values help when starting a new lot, but the printed ranges are usually wide, so the lab should calculate its own mean and SD from its own results.
