حدود الضبط هي القيم المرسومة على مخطط الضبط، وغالباً المتوسط ±2 و±3 انحراف معياري، والتي تفصل التباين العشوائي المتوقع عن مشكلة تحليلية محتملة. يجب حسابها من بيانات المختبر نفسه على دفعة الكونترول الحالية، لأن نسخ المجال الواسع المطبوع في نشرة الشركة يسمح بمرور أخطاء حقيقية دون ملاحظة.
Definition
Control limits are the values on a control chart, usually the mean ±2 SD and ±3 SD, that separate expected random variation from a possible analytical problem. They should come from the laboratory's own data on the current control lot, since copying the manufacturer's wide range lets real errors pass unnoticed.
