فشل المعايرة هو رفض معايرة لم تحقق معايير القبول، مثل تشتت كبير بين المكررات أو إشارة خارج المجال المتوقع أو عامل معايرة غير طبيعي. لا يجوز تمرير عينات المرضى قبل معالجة السبب، وأشيع الأسباب معايِر أسيئت إعادة حله أو كاشف متدهور أو مشكلة في المسبار.
Definition
Calibration failure is the rejection of a calibration that did not meet its acceptance criteria, such as large scatter between replicates, a signal outside the expected range or an abnormal calibration factor. Patient samples must not be run until the cause is fixed, most often a badly reconstituted calibrator, a deteriorated reagent or a probe problem.
