تاريخ انتهاء الصلاحية هو التاريخ المطبوع على العبوة الذي لا يجوز بعده استعمال الكاشف أو الكونترول أو المعايِر حتى لو بقيت العبوة مغلقة. استعمال مادة منتهية الصلاحية مخالفة يرصدها المدققون فوراً ولا يبررها نجاح الكونترول، ويُسجَّل تاريخ الانتهاء عند استلام كل دفعة.
Definition
The expiration date is the date printed on the pack after which a reagent, control or calibrator must not be used, even if still sealed. Using expired material is a finding assessors spot at once, a passing control does not excuse it, and the expiry should be recorded when each lot is received.
