جمع كل البول الذي يطرحه المريض خلال 24 ساعة بالضبط، إذ يُهمل بول الصباح الأول ثم يُجمع كل ما بعده حتى بول الصباح التالي ضمناً. يستخدم لقياس البروتين وتصفية الكرياتينين وبعض الهرمونات. الخطأ الأكثر شيوعاً هو إغفال بعض المرات، ويساعد قياس كرياتينين البول على تقدير اكتمال الجمع.
Definition
Collection of all urine passed over exactly 24 hours: the first morning void is discarded, then every void is saved, including the first void of the next morning. It is used for protein, creatinine clearance and some hormones. Missed voids are the main error, and measuring urine creatinine helps judge completeness.
