ناتج استقلاب كرياتين العضلات، ترشحه الكليتان، وهو المؤشر الدموي الرئيسي للترشيح الكبيبي. يقاس بطريقة جافي (البيكرات القلوية) أو بالطريقة الإنزيمية، وتتأثر طريقة جافي أكثر بتداخل البيليروبين والغلوكوز وبعض الأدوية. يُستخدم الكرياتينين مع العمر والجنس لحساب eGFR.
Definition
A waste product of muscle creatine, filtered by the kidneys, and the main blood marker of glomerular filtration. It is measured by the Jaffe (alkaline picrate) or enzymatic method, and the Jaffe method suffers more interference from bilirubin, glucose and some drugs. Creatinine is used with age and sex to calculate eGFR.
