تحليل تخثر على بلازما السترات يعكس السبيل الداخلي والمشترك، ومنه العوامل الثاني عشر والحادي عشر والتاسع والثامن. يستخدم للتحري عن الناعور وغيره من أعواز العوامل ولمراقبة الهيبارين غير المجزأ. التلوث بالهيبارين من خط وريدي يطيل APTT زيفاً، وعينات السترات ثابتة نحو 4 ساعات.
Definition
A clotting test on citrated plasma that reflects the intrinsic and common pathways, including factors XII, XI, IX and VIII. It is used to screen for hemophilia and other factor deficiencies and to monitor unfractionated heparin. Heparin contamination from a line gives a falsely long APTT, and citrate samples are stable for about 4 hours.
