قطعة تتحرر عند تفكك الفيبرين المتشابك، وتقاس في بلازما السترات. النتيجة الطبيعية مع احتمال سريري منخفض تساعد على استبعاد الخثار الوريدي العميق والصمة الرئوية. يرتفع الدي دايمر مع التقدم في العمر والحمل والعدوى والجراحة، وتختلف وحداته (FEU أو DDU) بين الكواشف، ما يسبب أخطاء في التقرير.
Definition
A fragment released when cross-linked fibrin is broken down, measured in citrated plasma. A normal result, combined with a low clinical probability, helps exclude deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. D-dimer rises with age, pregnancy, infection and surgery, and its units (FEU or DDU) vary by kit, which causes reporting errors.
