المعايرة الحجمية طريقة تحليل كيميائية تُضاف فيها كمية مقيسة من محلول معلوم التركيز إلى العينة حتى يكتمل التفاعل عند نقطة تكافؤ يُكشف عنها بمؤشر لوني أو كهربائي. كانت تُستعمل لقياس الكلوريد والكالسيوم يدوياً، ويجب عدم خلطها بمعايرة الأجهزة لأن الكلمة العربية واحدة.
Definition
Titration is a chemical method in which a measured volume of a solution of known concentration is added to a sample until the reaction reaches an equivalence point, shown by a colour or electrical indicator. It was used for manual chloride and calcium assays, and it should not be confused with instrument calibration, which shares the Arabic word معايرة.
