القيمة المستهدفة هي القيمة التي يُتوقع أن تعطيها مادة الضبط، وتُستعمل خطاً مركزياً في مخطط ليفي جينينغز. يُفضَّل حسابها من متوسط نتائج المختبر نفسه بدلاً من قيمة النشرة، فإذا كانت القيمة المستهدفة 5.0 mmol/L ومتوسط المختبر 5.3 بدا المخطط منحرفاً بشكل دائم.
Definition
The target value is the value a control material is expected to give and forms the centre line of the Levey-Jennings chart. It is best taken from the lab's own mean instead of the insert value, since a target of 5.0 mmol/L against a lab mean of 5.3 makes the chart look permanently off-centre.
