التعريف
مدة الصلاحية هي الفترة التي تبقى خلالها المادة المغلقة صالحة للاستعمال إذا خُزنت في الظروف المحددة، وتنتهي بتاريخ انتهاء الصلاحية. عند الشراء يُفضَّل طلب دفعات بمدة صلاحية متبقية كافية، خاصة للكونترول الذي يُستعمل من الدفعة نفسها على مدى أشهر.
Definition
Shelf life is the period during which an unopened material stays fit for use when stored as specified, ending on its expiration date. When buying, it is worth asking for lots with enough remaining shelf life, especially for controls that are used from one lot over many months.
