التحكم في المخاطر هو اتخاذ القرارات والإجراءات التي تخفض الخطر إلى مستوى مقبول أو تبقيه عنده. من أمثلته استخدام الباركود لمنع خلط العينات، ووضع قاعدة فحص دلتا لكشف العينة المأخوذة من مريض آخر، ثم التحقق من أن الإجراء خفّض الخطر فعلاً.
Definition
Risk control is the process of deciding on and implementing measures that reduce risk to an acceptable level or keep it there. Examples are using barcodes to prevent specimen mix-ups and adding a delta check rule to catch a sample drawn from the wrong patient, then checking that the measure really lowered the risk.
