دقة القياس هي مدى قرب القيمة المقيسة من القيمة الحقيقية للكمية، وتتأثر بالخطأ المنهجي والخطأ العشوائي معاً. قد تبتعد نتيجة واحدة عن الحقيقة بسبب انحياز الطريقة أو بسبب تشتت عشوائي، ولذلك تُقيَّم الدقة عبر الصحة والإحكام كلٌّ على حدة.
Definition
Measurement accuracy is the closeness of a measured value to the true value of the measurand, and it is affected by both systematic and random error. A single result can miss the truth through method bias or through random scatter, so accuracy is assessed through trueness and precision separately.
