صحة القياس هي مدى قرب متوسط عدد كبير من القياسات المكررة من القيمة المرجعية، ويُعبَّر عنها كمياً بالانحياز. تُقيَّم عملياً بمقارنة متوسط نتائج مادة مرجعية أو عينات التقييم الخارجي بالقيمة المسندة، فإذا كان متوسط الكوليسترول 5.4 والقيمة المرجعية 5.0 mmol/L فهناك انحياز بنسبة 8%.
Definition
Measurement trueness is the closeness of the mean of many replicate measurements to a reference value, and it is expressed quantitatively as bias. In practice it is checked by comparing the mean result on a reference material or EQA sample with its assigned value, so a cholesterol mean of 5.4 against a reference of 5.0 mmol/L means 8% bias.
