الكيمياء السريرية فرع من الطب المخبري يقيس المواد الكيميائية في سوائل الجسم، مثل الغلوكوز والكرياتينين والشوارد والإنزيمات والهرمونات. تُجرى معظم تحاليلها على أجهزة آلية تعتمد القياس الضوئي أو الأقطاب الانتقائية للأيونات أو المقايسات المناعية، وهي عادة القسم الأكبر حجماً في مختبرات التحاليل.
Definition
Clinical chemistry is the branch of laboratory medicine that measures chemical substances in body fluids, such as glucose, creatinine, electrolytes, enzymes and hormones. Most of its tests run on automated analysers using photometry, ion-selective electrodes or immunoassay, and it is usually the busiest section of a routine laboratory.
