مستلزمات المخابر كل ما يستهلكه المخبر في عمله من كواشف ومواد ضبط ومعايرات وأنابيب وماصات ورؤوس ومواد تنظيف الأجهزة. يتطلب ISO 15189 أن يقيّم المخبر مورديها ويتحقق منها عند الاستلام ويسجل أرقام الدفعات وتواريخ الصلاحية، وانقطاع مادة واحدة قد يوقف تحليلًا كاملًا.
Definition
Laboratory supplies are everything a laboratory consumes in its work, including reagents, controls, calibrators, tubes, pipette tips and instrument cleaning solutions. ISO 15189 expects the laboratory to evaluate their suppliers, check them on receipt and record lot numbers and expiry dates, and running out of a single item can halt a whole test.
