التعريف
التدقيق الداخلي هو فحص منهجي ومستقل يجريه المختبر على نفسه بفواصل مخططة، للتحقق من أن العمل يطابق المواصفة وإجراءات المختبر. يُفضَّل أن يدقق الموظف قسماً لا يعمل فيه، فيتتبع مثلاً عينة واحدة من الاستقبال حتى التقرير ويقارن كل خطوة بالإجراء المكتوب.
Definition
An internal audit is a systematic, independent examination the laboratory carries out on itself at planned intervals to check that work conforms to the standard and its own procedures. Auditors should not audit their own area, and a common method is to follow one sample from reception to report and compare each step with the written procedure.
