كشف الخطأ هو قدرة إجراء ضبط الجودة على رفض دورة تحليلية تحتوي خطأ مهماً طبياً، ويُعبَّر عنه باحتمال Ped. تسعى المختبرات عادة إلى احتمال كشف لا يقل عن 90% للخطأ المنهجي الحرج، ويتحقق ذلك باختيار القواعد وعدد مستويات الكونترول المناسبة.
Definition
Error detection is the ability of a QC procedure to reject a run that contains a medically important error, expressed as the probability Ped. Laboratories usually aim for at least a 90% probability of detecting the critical systematic error, achieved by choosing suitable rules and number of controls.
