التعريف
ضبط الوثائق هو العملية التي تضمن أن كل وثيقة في المختبر لها رقم تعريف وإصدار وتاريخ، وأنها مراجعة ومعتمدة قبل الاستخدام، وأن النسخة الحالية فقط متاحة في مكان العمل. يمنع ذلك أن يعمل فني على إجراء قديم يذكر حدوداً أو كاشفاً لم يعد مستخدماً.
Definition
Document control is the process that gives every laboratory document an identifier, version and date, has it reviewed and approved before use, and keeps only the current version available at the workbench. It stops a technician from following an old procedure that quotes limits or a reagent the lab no longer uses.
