دم يؤخذ بوخز جلد رأس الإصبع أو كعب القدم عند الرضع، وهو مزيج من الدم الشرياني والوريدي والسائل النسيجي. يستخدم في تحاليل نقطة الرعاية مثل الغلوكوز والخضاب السكري والهيموغلوبين. تُمسح القطرة الأولى، والضغط الشديد على الإصبع يمدد العينة بالسائل النسيجي وقد يسبب انحلال الدم.
Definition
Blood obtained by skin puncture of a fingertip or, in infants, the heel, and a mixture of arterial blood, venous blood and tissue fluid. It is used for point-of-care glucose, HbA1c and hemoglobin. The first drop is wiped away, and squeezing the finger hard dilutes the sample with tissue fluid and can cause hemolysis.
