عامل المعايرة هو الرقم الذي يحوّل إشارة الجهاز، مثل تغير الامتصاص، إلى تركيز، ويُحسب في المعايرة أحادية النقطة بقسمة تركيز المعايِر على إشارته. متابعة هذا العامل من معايرة لأخرى مفيدة، فتغيره المفاجئ بنسبة كبيرة يدل غالباً على تدهور الكاشف أو مشكلة في المصباح.
Definition
The calibration factor is the number that converts instrument signal, such as change in absorbance, into concentration, calculated in single-point calibration as calibrator concentration divided by its signal. Tracking it between calibrations is useful, since a sudden large change often points to reagent deterioration or a lamp problem.
