خطة استمرارية الأعمال هي خطة موثقة تحدد كيف يستمر المختبر في تقديم التحاليل الأساسية أثناء حدث طارئ، مثل انقطاع الكهرباء أو تعطل الجهاز الرئيسي أو توقف النظام الحاسوبي. تحدد التحاليل ذات الأولوية والمختبر البديل والنماذج الورقية، وتُختبر بتمرين فعلي.
Definition
A business continuity plan is a documented plan stating how the laboratory keeps essential testing going during an emergency, such as a power cut, failure of the main analyzer or loss of the computer system. It names priority tests, the backup laboratory and paper forms to use, and it is tested with a real drill.
