ضبط نظام القياس بحسب VIM هو مجموعة العمليات التي تُجرى على الجهاز ليعطي قراءات مطابقة لقيم محددة، مثل تعديل حساسية الكاشف الضوئي أو إدخال معامل تصحيح. يختلف عن المعايرة التي تحدد العلاقة فقط، مع أن كثيراً من الأجهزة تجمع الاثنين في خطوة واحدة، وأي معامل تصحيح يدخله المختبر يجب توثيقه والتحقق منه.
Definition
In the VIM, adjustment is the set of operations carried out on a measuring system so it gives readings matching given values, such as changing detector gain or entering a correction factor. It is distinct from calibration, which only establishes the relationship, although many analysers combine the two, and any correction factor a lab enters must be documented and verified.
