مادة الضبط من طرف ثالث كونترول تصنعه شركة غير الشركة المصنعة للجهاز والكاشف، مثل كونترولات Bio-Rad أو Randox على أجهزة شركات أخرى. تطلب ISO 15189:2022 النظر في استعمالها، لأن كونترول الشركة المصنعة نفسها قد يخفي مشكلة في الكاشف أو المعايِر إذا تأثر بها بالطريقة نفسها.
Definition
A third-party control is made by a company other than the analyser and reagent manufacturer, for example Bio-Rad or Randox controls used on another maker's system. ISO 15189:2022 asks labs to consider using them, because a manufacturer's own control can mask a reagent or calibrator problem if it is affected in the same way.
