الميل هو مقدار تغير المتغير الصادي مقابل كل وحدة تغير في المتغير السيني على خط الانحدار. في مقارنة الطرق يعني الميل 1.00 عدم وجود انحياز تناسبي، أما الميل 1.05 فيعني أن الطريقة الجديدة تعطي نتائج أعلى بنحو 5%.
Definition
The slope is the change in the y variable for each unit change in x along a regression line. In method comparison a slope of 1.00 means no proportional bias, while a slope of 1.05 means the new method reads about 5% higher.
