رفض الدورة التحليلية قرار يُتخذ عند مخالفة قاعدة من قواعد ضبط الجودة، ومعناه أن نتائج المرضى في تلك الدورة لا يجوز الإبلاغ عنها كما هي. تُوقف الدورة ويُصحح الخلل ويُعاد تمرير الكونترول، ثم يُعاد تمرير عينات المرضى منذ آخر كونترول مقبول إذا كان الخطأ قد يؤثر فيها.
Definition
Run rejection is the decision, triggered by a QC rule violation, that patient results from an analytical run cannot be reported as they stand. The run is stopped, the fault is corrected, controls are repeated, and patient samples since the last acceptable QC are re-run where the error could affect them.
