مخالفة قاعدة الضبط تحدث عندما تحقق نتائج الكونترول شرط إحدى قواعد الضبط، كنتيجة تتجاوز 3 انحراف معياري في قاعدة 1-3s. نوع القاعدة المخالَفة يدل على نوع الخطأ، فقاعدة R-4s تشير إلى خطأ عشوائي، أما 2-2s و10x فتشيران إلى خطأ منهجي، وهذا يوجه البحث عن السبب.
Definition
A rule violation occurs when control results meet the condition of a control rule, for example one result beyond 3 SD for the 1-3s rule. The rule that was broken hints at the error type, since R-4s points to random error while 2-2s or 10x point to systematic error, which guides troubleshooting.
