التعريف
قياس العينة نفسها مرة أخرى، أو عينة جديدة، لتأكيد نتيجة غير متوقعة أو حرجة أو معلَّمة. يجب أن يحدد المختبر متى يعيد التحليل وأي نتيجة يصدر. إعادة نتيجة تقع ضمن عدم إحكام الطريقة تضيف كلفة دون معلومة جديدة، لذلك تُبنى القواعد على البيانات.
Definition
Measuring the same sample again, or a new sample, to confirm an unexpected, critical or flagged result. The lab should define when to repeat and which result to report. Repeating a result that lies within the method's imprecision adds cost without new information, so repeat rules should be based on data.
