المصل المجمّع مزيج من بقايا مصول عدد من المرضى، يُخلط ويُقسم ويُجمد ليُستعمل كمادة ضبط داخلية أو في دراسات التحقق. ميزته أن مصفوفته بشرية حقيقية وكلفته منخفضة، لكن يجب التعامل معه كمادة معدية محتملة وتقييم تجانسه وثباتيته قبل الاعتماد عليه.
Definition
Pooled serum is a mixture of leftover serum from many patients, mixed, aliquoted and frozen for use as in-house control material or in verification studies. It has a genuine human matrix and low cost, but it must be handled as potentially infectious and checked for homogeneity and stability before use.
