خارج حدود الضبط هي حالة العملية التحليلية عندما تخالف نتائج الكونترول قاعدة رفض أو أكثر، مما يدل على أن الخطأ قد يتجاوز الحد المقبول. تُحجز نتائج المرضى في تلك الدورة ويُبحث عن السبب، ثم يُعاد تمرير العينات المتأثرة بعد استعادة الضبط.
Definition
Out of control is the status of an analytical process when control results violate one or more rejection rules, showing that the error may exceed what is acceptable. Patient results from that run are held, the cause is investigated, and affected samples are retested once control is restored.
