اختبار موثق يثبت أن كل وظيفة في الجهاز المركب تعمل وفق المواصفات ضمن مجالات عملها. من أمثلته التحقق من درجات الحرارة وحجوم السحب وقراءات المقياس الضوئي والإنذارات، ويجريه عادة مهندس الصيانة وفق بروتوكول الشركة.
Definition
Documented testing that each function of the installed instrument operates as specified across its operating ranges. Examples are checks of temperatures, pipetting volumes, photometer readings and alarms, usually carried out by the service engineer using the manufacturer's protocol.
