جهاز يقيس درجة الحموضة والضغط الجزئي للأكسجين وثاني أكسيد الكربون، ومعها غالباً الشوارد واللاكتات وقياس أنواع الهيموغلوبين، على دم كامل مضاف إليه الهيبارين. فقاعات الهواء والتأخير والخثرات في المحقنة تغير النتائج، لذلك تُمرر العينة بسرعة بعد سحبها.
Definition
An analyzer that measures pH and the partial pressures of oxygen and carbon dioxide, often with electrolytes, lactate and co-oximetry, on heparinized whole blood. Air bubbles, delays and clots in the syringe change results, so samples should be analyzed promptly after collection.
