القياس بحسب المفردات الدولية للمترولوجيا VIM هو عملية الحصول تجريبياً على قيمة أو أكثر يمكن أن تُنسب بشكل معقول إلى كمية ما. كل نتيجة رقمية في المختبر، مثل غلوكوز 5.6 mmol/L، هي ناتج قياس، وتحمل معها قدراً من الخطأ والارتياب.
Definition
In the VIM, measurement is the process of experimentally obtaining one or more values that can reasonably be attributed to a quantity. Every numerical lab result, such as glucose 5.6 mmol/L, is the outcome of a measurement and carries some error and uncertainty.
