التعريف
خطأ القياس هو الفرق بين القيمة المقيسة والقيمة المرجعية للكمية، ويتكوّن من خطأ منهجي وخطأ عشوائي. لا يمكن إلغاؤه كلياً، فكل نتيجة تحمل خطأ ما، والمطلوب أن يبقى أقل من الخطأ الكلي المسموح الذي يغيّر القرار الطبي إذا تجاوزه.
Definition
Measurement error is the difference between a measured value and a reference value of the quantity, and it has a systematic and a random component. It can never be removed entirely, so the aim is to keep it below the total allowable error beyond which a clinical decision would change.
