التباين بين الدفعات هو الفرق في أداء الكاشف أو المعايِر أو الكونترول بين دفعة وأخرى من المنتج نفسه. قد يبدو صغيراً على الكونترول ويؤثر مع ذلك في المرضى، ومن أمثلته المعروفة المقايسات المناعية كتحليل التروبونين، لذلك تُقارن الدفعة الجديدة بالقديمة على عينات مرضى قبل اعتمادها.
Definition
Lot-to-lot variation is the difference in performance of a reagent, calibrator or control between one lot and the next of the same product. It can look small on controls yet affect patients, with immunoassays such as troponin a well-known example, so a new lot is compared with the old one on patient samples before use.
