أذية الكلى تراجع في وظيفة الكلية قد يكون حادًا خلال ساعات أو أيام، ويُعرف حسب معايير KDIGO بارتفاع الكرياتينين 0.3 ملغ/دل خلال 48 ساعة أو إلى 1.5 ضعف القيمة الأساسية خلال سبعة أيام، أو بنقص البول. يتابعها المخبر بالكرياتينين والبولة والشوارد، وتُدرس مؤشرات أبكر مثل NGAL.
Definition
Kidney injury is a loss of kidney function that can develop acutely over hours or days. KDIGO defines acute kidney injury as a creatinine rise of 0.3 mg/dL within 48 hours or to 1.5 times baseline within seven days, or reduced urine output. Laboratories follow it with creatinine, urea and electrolytes, and earlier markers such as NGAL are under study.
